Auchentoshan Distillery has been an established landmark in the west of Scotland for over 180 years. Situated at the foot of the Kilpatrick Hills and overlooking the River Clyde, Auchentoshan Distillery lies on the outskirts of the vibrant and cosmopolitan City of Glasgow where it is fondly referred to as “Glasgow’s Malt”. In the mid 1800’s almost every town in the Lowlands of Scotland had their own distillery, today only three Lowland distilleries remain in operation making the Lowland malt particularly special. Triple Distillation sets them apart from all other distilleries in Scotland where double distillation is the norm. Triple Distillation delivers a taste profile which is smooth and pure with a light and delicate character. This is a single malt with great accessibility equally appealing to the drinker who is new to single malt as well as the connoisseur who looks for depth and complexity.
