Babich Lone Tree Hawke's Bay Chardonnay

The Lone Tree name refers to the 85 year old Pohutakawa tree growing at the Henderson winery. This sturdy, nicely integrated Chardonnay avoids barrels and oak chips, and instead offers a clean fruit driven aroma and the fresh taste of apples and melons. Malolactic fermentation softens the acidity, resulting in great texture and drinkability. Awesome value and this range is not sold in grocery.
