Wine
As its aboriginal name infers, Wirra Wirra is nestled "amongst the gums", an historic ironstone winery that bears testament to the unique vision of its founder, the late Greg Trott. A man of big ideas and grand gestures, Trott's pioneering spirit and sense of fun is on display for all to enjoy at the cellar door.
From the call of the Angelus bell atop the winery, to the 3 tonne post and rail fence known as "Woodhenge" that welcomes visitors, Wirra Wirra offers a unique and memorable winery experience.
Of course, none of this would matter if the wines didn't deliver. But deliver they do, with Senior Winemaker Paul Smith producing an eclectic range that showcases classic grape varietals from the pick of South Australia's regions. Be it Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coonawarra or the rich Shiraz that has made the McLaren Vale famous, Wirra Wirra's reputation as a world class winery continues to grow.
